  • Job Description
    We are looking for a Project Coordinator to work across the events team and assist in the production of events across the country and for some of the biggest local and international brands. This position will be responsible for the tracking, evaluation and qualifying of all projects from brief to execution to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to our clients through the optimal management of the events teams’ workload. This will include, but not be limited to the tracking and management of all projects, master budget management, periodic reporting of all projects, management of all tenders and central supplier sourcing. You will work closely with the rest of the events team and the Sales division whilst reporting into the National Head of Events.
    Desired Skills and Experience
    Role Requirements:
    • 2-3 years’ experience of successful project management
    • 1-2 years’ experience of working within the marketing field
    • Hold a degree or diploma in project management, marketing, business or similar
    • Advanced experience of Microsoft office
    • Must speak fluent English
    • Must be able to do occasional travel to JHB and CPT (Avg once a week)
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Track all projects, deadlines and deliverables using the Company chart
    • Store and manage client logos, brand guidelines, images and information
    • Assist event managers with presentations and ensure the client brief is fulfilled in its entirety
    • Become the central point of communication for all live projects and work load
    • Source new suppliers and/or innovations and strive to build relationships on a national level to better the company’s overall offering
    • Manage, update and categorise the Company library, information, albums and supplier database
    • Create reports and provide updates on the internal emailing-in system
    • Report, track and feedback on the financial status of each project, whilst proving suggestions on focus areas
    • Ensure major builds and elements with long lead times are on track and highlighted
    • Suggest and advise on the allocation of workload to the Head of events
    • Proof read and check all external presentations and proposals
    • Track and check payment plans on all projects and ensure payments are meeting their deadlines
    • Manage and vet all supplier contracts, booking forms and their policies and suggest edits where necessary
