  • Key Performance Areas:
    Sales Management:
    • Drive sales according to budget
    • Set operational sales targets (score card)
    • Signing of debrief book
    • Do a weekly and monthly trend analysis on staff sales achievements
    • Maintain an up to date knowledge of products offered by (pictures, catering) as well as promotional / marketing activities
    • Provide regular feedback on all Promotional and Marketing initiatives, feedback must include weaknesses and learning points
    • Monitor banking and Change requests and authorize refunds.
    • Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the departmental staff by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development
    • Ensure that all daily debrief sessions are taking place through observation, and gather relevant information for review and give feedback on achievements and performance to the staff and prepare the necessary documentation for the General manager.
    • Inform staff of their performance after every show and discuss improvement solutions.
    • Set individual targets for staff according to Club Card standards
    People Management:
    • Actively participate in the selection process of suitable applicants to fill vacancies according to the Org structure head count.
    • Manage new staffs on boarding training program, check on progress and assist with the evaluation of skills
    • Ensure understanding of Role Profiles and expected standards and coach all staff to identify substandard issues and what corrective action to take.
    • Create a friendly and professional work environment.
    • Manage the performance of employees through observation, coaching and assistance with the implementation of action plans to ensure required standards are met
    • Complete performance reviews for all staff on a quarterly basis with development plans in place
    • Investigate, provide evidence and take disciplinary and corrective action
    • Conduct disciplinary hearings
    • Approves on a regular basis all overtime payments as prepared by his department heads and compare those figures to official budgets
    • Sign off staff shifts before COB each Wednesday according to agreed staffing complements with Admin Manager.
    • Action time and attendance deviations
    • Monitor staff Appearance/Personal Hygiene
    • The appearance of the entire personnel reflects the reputation and image of the company, therefore a great deal of emphasis is placed on a professional appearance.
    • The Company expects you to maintain the highest standard of personal appearance according to policy.
    • Place uniform orders with the HR consultant.
    • Do regular product knowledge evaluations and role plays to ensure effective sales techniques
    Product Management:
    • Ensure optimal stock levels
    • Analyze Market opportunities
    • Sign off on weekly stock variances
    • Monitor Stock delivery to departments, storage and packing of shelves.
    • Sign off all orders for the week and GRV all orders received
    • Keep record of line performances and make recommendations and adjustments where necessary
    • Conduct full stock counts on all floats and store locations
    • Ensure Audit pack is done on a daily basis (Banking, All cash ups, All stock takes, Reinstatements, and Weekly work file).
    Marketing and Visual Merchandising:
    • Assist customers in any special request, including but not limited to parties, special functions, etc.
    • Assist in the development of a marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort, realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans
    • Do a weekly and monthly trend analysis on staff sales achievements
    • Maintain an up to date knowledge of products offered (pictures, catering) as well as promotional / marketing activities.
    • Identify and discuss marketing and promotional ideas with Regional Marketing Manager and develop a marketing plan to drive Attendances
    • Monitor set up and prepare for special screenings
    • Monitor implementation of marketing and promotional material and initiatives according to plan.
    • Provide regular feedback on all Promotional and Marketing initiatives, feedback must include weaknesses and learning points.
    • Liaise with Food and Beverages Manager on special events and big movie launches to ensure sufficient stock levels for display and sales
    • Coordinate details of special events such as girlfriend getaways, mother’s day, valentine, special movie theme parties, conferences, birthdays, anniversaries, charity events, surprise parties, sales meetings, business meetings, employee appreciation events and virtual events.
    Customer Experience:
    • Drive customer experience and relations in line with quality and performance standards.
    • Ensure that departmental staff delivers required experience standards and attends SOP and Sales training.
    • Analyse and report on customer experience feedback to establish levels of customer service and proactively determine areas of improvement.
    • Implement continuous improvements in customer service within the department
    • Monitor the functionality of all equipment
    • Ensure management presence on floor during show times, taking care of customer service and relations in line with quality and performance standards through floor management i.e. observing GROs effectiveness with queue directing, cashier interaction, cashier service efficiency, door control interaction, cleaning staff’s readiness during after and before staggers etc.
    Requirements:
    • 5 years relevant work experience
    • Must have own car/ vehicle
    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Diploma in Business Management or Sales is preferable
    • SAP experience will be advantageous
    • Excellent Verbal and written communication.
    • Excellent administration & Organisational skills
