  • • Managing and controlling all daily store operations to maximise sales turnover;
    • Ensure that daily sales trading is done in accordance with all standard operating procedures;
    • Daily monitoring of stores sales turnover and budgets;
    • Monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels to maximise sales turnover;
    • Monitor and control all stores expenses within allocated budgets;
    • Controlling, selection and supervision of staff;
    • Training and development of staff;
    • Implement, monitor and ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to in all areas of the store;
    • Ensuring compliance with policy and procedures of Company;
    • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions;
    • Ensure effective and efficient implementation of advertised sales promotions;
    • Promoting and advertising goods and services;
    • Minimize expenses in area of responsibility including but not limited to scheduling of staff;
    • Maximise sales in area of responsibility;
    • Protect Company assets in area of responsibility;
    • Minimize stock loss (Shrinkages & Damages).
    • Manage, control and administer all functions in the store related to daily banking, receipt and dispatch of goods, staff scheduling, stock counts, stationery and all other general administration;
    • Counting and recording money received and/or paid out and balancing against cash register sales records;
    • Daily cash ups and balancing by receiving incoming cash, checking it against sales slips and other documents, and preparing it for deposit at bank;
    • Ensure accurate and timeous daily banking and reconciliations;
    • Daily reporting all discrepancies, shortages and overs, price overrides refunds and exchanges to Store Manager for authorisation;
    • Administration and record keeping of all daily cash up and banking documentation;
    • Manage and control all functions and procedures related to receipt and dispatch of goods in accordance with standard operating procedures;
    • Oversee, monitor and control back door procedures including all documentation;
    • Administration and control of all supplier returns, repairs and damage stock write offs;
    • Daily reporting of all receipt and despatch documentation to the Store Manager for authorisation;
    • Adherences to daily housekeeping in receiving and storage areas;
    • Administration and record keeping of all documentation related to receipt and dispatch of stock;
    • Manage and control all weekly stock counts in accordance with count schedule;
    • Plan and prepare and administer all stock take counts;
    • Manage and control all stock take counts;
    • Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties;
    • Continuously updating price changes electronically and manually;
    • Maintenance and administrations of all stock related matters;
    • Ordering and monitoring and controlling Stationery use in the store.
