Offer description
A leading plastic packaging Manufacturer based in Rosslyn, Pretoria is looking for a receptionist on a contract basis which may become permanent depending on the performance of the candidate and if the candidate fits in with the culture of the company and the owners.
• Assist with incoming calls and visitors to the premises
• Take orders and/or get stock taken out for clients to collect
• Respond to general telephonic and email queries and take of messages for people out of the office
• Folding of daily invoices made for the drivers and checking that COCs are done and check that the driver has all the invoices for what is loaded on the truck
• Complete waybills for deliveries that are sent out with Freightmore and other courier companies
• Collection of internal orders from management and check if anything needs to be invoiced or credited
• Attach checked delivery notes to the copy tax invoice and file them & check the files to make sure all copy tax invoices are in the file and number order
• Receive payments from work in clients, write up the cash payments in petty cash payments received in the book, or do card payment transactions
• Invoices that need to be emailed to the customer need to go to accounts
• General office administration duties and filing
• Reroute internet inquiries & make copies
• Help visitors to navigate through our office
• Supplying visitors with refreshments as they wait
• Maintain calendars for appointments
• or call the relevant person for the customer
• To always be well presented and friendly
• Report and follow-up on communication lines malfunction
• Liaise with courier companies for collection/ deliveries
• Complete customer's vendor/ credit applications
• Render administrative assistance to salespeople
• Reserve and prepare venues for meetings
• Order/ collect office requirements e.g. stationary etc.
• Must phone clients to obtain outstanding information or documents required to execute instructions
• Ad hoc responsibilities as and when required
Requirements
- Minimum education level: Ocupational Certificate /N5
- 8 years of experience
- Driver's license: EB
- Availability to travel: No
- Availability of change of residence: No
