Description
To generate new concrete/ready-mix/aggregate business sales in the Newcastle (and surrounding Northern KZN region) including servicing existing clients. This position requires the applicant to travel extensively throughout the KZN province.
This position is responsible for technically and/ or commercially selling products to existing and new customers within a specified geographical location and market segment.
This position is open to South African citizens.
Correspondence will be reserved for shortlisted applicants.
Key Performance Areas;
Achievement of set targets, objectives and budget for the year
Sales Forecasting, Budgetary input, and Market updates
Promote the company’s products and obtain new business in line with company policy & production capacities
Maintain & improve established CRM programs
Handle all customer’s queries & complaints promptly
Ensure continuous stock supply & product availability at outlet level
Ensure that customer contact frequency, levels, quality & relationships are maintained according to agreed targets
Management of ad-hoc sales projects
Act as project member/leader for various ad-hoc projects
Experience Required;
Basic knowledge of cement products.
Ability to communicate & negotiate with all customers.
2 Years general sales.
Customer Service Orientated.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Established and solid relationships with companies within the Newcastle and Northern KZN and surrounding areas (advantage)
Qualification Requirement;
Matric + relevant tertiary qualification in Sales & Distribution
Drivers licence
