    Purpose of Function
    • Lead the Regional sales organisation; define its goals in accordance with Dräger Medical’s and the related country business strategy.
    • Generate orders for the geographical area assigned through the management of Customers and resources by offering Dräger’s complete portfolio/solutions/services in the Care Area
    • Regional Sales Manager has P&L budget responsibility in the geographical area within the gross margin range assigned as limit of authority
    • Regional Sales Manager has responsibility for sales force in the geographical area, for sales activities and relevant budget
    • Regional Sales Manager interfaces with Marketing for planning and follow-up of demos (managed by application specialists) and special events
    • Ensure continuous check and improvement of internal procedures and manage the global change process in his/her geographical region.
    Tasks and Responsibilities
    Represent Client to the accounts in the geographical area
    • with regular visits to the main decision makers within the account to establish solid contacts for ongoing or future business
    • Tender management – coordinate sales force and other resources, pricing based on funding available and competitors intelligence, order follow-up for relationship management
    • drive large projects or buiness solutions and services
    • own „A“ hospital/customer knowledge
    • Responsible for the key accounts as allocated
    Establish geographical area business plan through main accounts knoweldge and input of sales engineers based on:
    • customer relationship management (history of customers, customers installed based by Dräger and competitors, win/lost order analysist in the area by sales engineer, plan A, B customers
    • Market share
    • Determine action plan by sales engineers area for budget achievement
    • ROI on actions in the accounts by sales engineer
    Management of Regional Sales organisation
    • manage the employee / resources and set clear tasks and goals (i.e propose commission/salary and bonus plans and revision, run performance appraisal for sales people, approve expense reports for sales organisation)
    • implement sales processes
    • Ensure that employees are properly supported, trained and evaluated, keep sales people highly motivated
    • manage and ensure the progress and quality of the work
    • lead and take part to project teams
    • Administration
    • Continually updates CRM, market / product analysis with product specialist
    • Completion and maintenance of Call Reports Submission of Weekly Planners to the Sales Manager
    • All quote requests and brochures to be sent to the relevant person 24hrs from time of request.
    • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with the Principles of Business and Conduct in the Dräger Group and local laws and regulations
    • Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health laws and other applicable regulations
    • Communications and Brand
    • Support Brand recognition at the branch level
    • Responsible for Internal Communications within the workshop
    • Relationship-Management with Distributors, Customers and all employees within the Branch
    • Regulatory Affairs and Quality
    • Implement the processes and actions to obtain and maintain all relevant certifications, e.g. ISO, SANAS, in close collaboration with the Service Manager: and the local Quality Manager
    • Ensure compliance with corporate quality and environmental policies
    • Prepare, implement and monitor effective processes that provide the evidence of compliance with relevant directives, standards, technical, legal, industry or trade requirements
    • Ensure the effective day to day quality management of processes within, business, regulatory, testing, customer relations, service and logistic departments
    Position Requirements
    • Diploma or higher in Sales and Marketing Management
    Related Experience
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Environment
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the medical field is advantageous
    • ≥ 3 years middle management experience gained in a company with sales and service, functions
    • Strong customer orientation in combination with a proven track-record in sales and/or service management
    Skills, Special Competencies, or Certifications
    • Management skills according to LEAD
    • Strong leadership personality. Ability to act as a facilitator in a highly diverse cross-functional team and achieve excellent results and commitment. Cross-functional business knowledge and thinking.
    • Language skills: Business English
    • Valid Drivers Licence
    • Ability to travel
    • Ability to work outside of normal working hours as required from time to time
