  • We have recently expanded our extensive product portfolio to include a leading brand of Clinical Diagnostics Instrumentation, Consumables, and Software.

    As a leading brand in Africa, we have historically collaborated closely with national health ministries and internationally recognised non-governmental organisations with sample collection consumables and laboratory tools to enhance their diagnostics ability. The inclusion of this exciting new brand into our portfolio will allow us to cement and grow our leading market position.

    Requirements that must be met:

    • Bachelor of Science qualification in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences or equivalent.

    • Proven sales track record with minimum three years’ experience in the Clinical Diagnostics market

    • Experience in leading and managing a team of sales personnel and/or specialists

    • Ability to function independently, and as part of a team

    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English which is the primary business language.

    • Must have the ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines.

    • Must have good analytical skills to analyse territory data and technical information.

    • A strong work ethic and high attention to detail.

    • Willingness for limited travel locally and internationally.

    • A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

    Summary of duties and responsibilities:

    • Drive, manage and maintain key accounts and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through leadership of team members as well as direct customer interaction.

    • Develop and grow current business relationships with private and public Clinical Diagnostic/pathology Laboratories, generating sales to meet set quarterly and annual targets.

    • Present sales feedback, forecast sales, maintain financial spreadsheets and report market information and customer feedback to management and supplier partners on a regular basis.

    • Optimally position and sell our value proposition in terms of its Clinical Diagnostics product portfolio and related products and services in targeted markets.

    • Take a leading role in coordinating activities to drive sales and market share.

    • Build and develop customer networks at a senior level.

    • Grow the footprint of our clinical diagnostic product lines in Africa.
