  • A leading telecommunications company based in Johannesburg, have an exciting job opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their team. Your key responsibilities as the Sales Manager in Johannesburg will include developing new and existing revenue income, achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the national sales teams and recruiting, coaching and performance monitoring of a diverse team of account managers
    Your key job responsibilities as the Sales Manager in Johannesburg will include:
    - Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base
    - Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships
    - Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    - Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
    - Manage personal & team KPI management
    - Further development of account/ territory selling strategies
    - Assistance with the formulation of formal proposals and presentations to decision makers within customer organizations
    - Closing new business according to targets, objectives, and plans
    - To keep abreast with industry and technology changes
    - Ensure a comprehensive understanding of our business and its associated industry
    - Assist with insight to new product development
    Requirements for this Sales Manager job in Johannesburg:
    - Diploma or preferably a Degree
    - Solid understanding of the ICT industry in a sales capacity
    - At least 10 years’ experience in the ISP/WAN/Telecommunications industry
    - Proven track record for Sales achievement and Sales Management against targets
    - Technical understanding of the underlying ISP/WAN/Telecommunications/VoIP/telephony infrastructure
