  • Duties & Responsibilities
    Day-to-day management of the office of the Department Managers e.g. diary management, correspondence, filling etc.
    Providing secretarial services and general office administration duties to the department
    Assisting in compiling correspondence and reports
    Arrangement of meeting and taking minutes at meeting
    Costing, travel and accommodations arrangements of Departmental Managers
    Constant liaison with staff, human resource, finances, collaborators, users, students, suppliers etc,
    Assisting the Department Managers with communication of staff/users and suppliers
    Facilitating visits of foreign and SA users/collaborators, students by ensuring travel and accommodation arrangements etc.
    Desired Experience & Qualification
    Grade 12
    Secretarial Certificate (1 Year)
    2 – 3 Years administrative / secretarial experience
    3 year qualification in Office Management or related – advantageous


    Good communication skills
    Good telephone etiquette and professionalism
    Good planning and organizational skills
    Competent in proofreading of letters and documents
    Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure
    Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
    Above average computer literacy and typing skills
