    A LEADING ICT services provider that specializes in the healthcare industry is seeking a Senior Specialist ETL Developer to join their phenomenal team of Dev’s. Your purpose would be to develop and enhance the back-end of the data warehouse to satisfy specified and agreed user requirements in conformance with standards, time and cost parameters agreed for each project/request.     Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    Minimum 8 years IT experience in Data Warehousing
    Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Warehousing and Data Modelling
    5 years’ experience in programming, understanding of database design and system analysis.
    ETL Tool Knowledge ESSENTIAL (Datastage 8.2 and above)
    Administration of Datastage 8.2 and above is a MUST HAVE
    Experience in SQL, PL/SQL and SDLC methodology ESSENTIAL
    Data Modelling Tool highly preferential
    Delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization – experienced in BI development and implementations, data architecture and data warehousing
    Sound understanding of BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modelling, SQL skills, data warehousing and reporting techniques
    Technical ETL expertise in creating star schema data models, performing ETLs and validating results with business representatives
    ETL Tool knowledge ESSENTIAL (Datastage 8.2 and above)
    Support implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues
    Identify data sources and adhere to budget and schedules
    Develop extract, transformation and load processes through the ETL tool
    Monitor the load process in terms of performance and tune accordingly
