    Job Purpose
    To coordinate and provide a consolidated view of relevant business and operational information to the Nedbank Africa Regions (NAR) Technology MANCO, NAR EXCO and functional areas to enable strategic and operational decisions that improves operational performance and aligns the execution delivery to the GT and NAR strategy. Manage and support the governance processes, tools and indicators to drive NAR Technology strategy, system reliability and stability, and change aspirations through the value-chain.
    Job Responsibilities
    Meet financial objectives by managing operating expenditure
    Enable the Governance function through development and implementation of strategy, structure and process.
    All key functions and processes in the NAR Technology value chain are embedded with the appropriate governance processes, metrics, reviews and reporting drivers, e.g. how are we providing governance over code quality, etc.
    Ensure that the Strategic Projects align with budgets committed and delivery timelines.
    Review and monitor the alignment of change activities to meet the strategic objectives of GT and the NAR business.
    All NAR Technology’s Risk’s mitigated and Audit findings managed effectively
    Drive and implement an efficient vendor management and resourcing process that adds value to the Technology value chain
    Review all vendor contracts in the NAR Technology value-chain, including the Subsidiary IT contracts for Group compliance and alignment to delivery/cost expectations
    Provide effective management of the invoicing and payments engagement with vendors according to contractual obligations
    Comprehensive and complete management of all Assets, Contracts, OD’s, PIMS/A4 documentation for NAR Technology
    Provide a point of contact/expertise to support the Occupational Health and Safety needs of the area
    Minimise financial or reputational risk
    Support seamless integration of compliance management
    Support NAR Technology in entrenching and promoting a compliance culture and create a compliance presence
    Support Compliance Management by establishing and providing compliance management controls, systems and processes
    Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimisation through promoting multi-skilling and addressing capacity gaps by reviewing and improving work processes.
    Manage performance of NAR Technology functional areas and hold them accountable for managing the performance of their direct reports by implementing performance agreements; ensuring a clear vision; agreeing on goals and objectives; providing regular feedback on performance; recognising and rewarding achievement and take appropriate corrective action where required.
    Provide technical input to stakeholders to enable decision making and ensure high-quality service levels through the delivery value-chain.
    Manage compliance reporting by providing and distributing reports highlighting non-compliance issues.
    Support regulatory project deliverables and align with business imperatives by implementing strategic, tactical and operational plans.
    Manage or mitigate risk by ensuring adherence to all compliance, regulatory and legislative requirements.
    Build a high performance team through managing resources, retention and critical staff.
    Actively build a culture of improvement by ensuring the design and implementing active talent management, succession planning strategies for division and obtaining buy-in from relevant stakeholders.
    Essential Qualification
    Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
    Performance Management, Governance, Risk Management Courses, Post graduate Diploma in Compliance
    Preferred Certifications
    Relevant professional bodies (SAICA, CISA, IRMSA, EISA, SAIFM)

    Minimum Experience Level
    Minimum 10 years job related experience in Financial Services and/or Operational Risk and Compliance

    3 years minimum Senior Management experience.
