    Under occasional supervision, delivers revenue and profit goals by soliciting, developing and managing sales accounts within assigned territory/product area. Provides professional, timely customer service while promoting a variety of SALB products and services. Tracks and analyses sales trends. Performs related work as required. Reports to the Managing Director.


    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Develops sales action plan for each market segment within assigned territory to develop and enhance new and existing accounts.

    Plans and gives sales presentations to potential clients / corporate committees; attends and participates in industry trade shows to generate sales business.

    Identifies and initiates contact with potential new customers; calls on clients and potential clients in person, by written letters and by telephone as appropriate; prepares and presents customised proposals; prepares and distributes direct mail to prospective clients.

    Assists in designing client solutions to business needs.

    Prepares sales contracts; services existing contracts.

    Establishes and maintains rapport with all clients and potential clients

    Manages sales accounts within assigned territory through sales calls, follow-up visits and telephone/written communications.

    Responds to inquiries, concerns and complaints regarding SALB products and services from customers and potential customers.

    Assists in maintaining up-to-date and accurate client account information.

    Tracks and analyses sales data; monitors business trends and customer preferences.

    Coordinates sales activities with those of other company departments as appropriate.

    • Develop sales strategies in order to meet revenue and profit targets
    • Develop and manage the sales budget; sales forecasts, expenditures and revenue; ensure expenditures are in compliance with budget allocations

    Travels as needed to client sites for sales calls and follow-up meetings; packs marketing materials for sales trips.

    Ensures professional, quality service and customer satisfaction.

    Assists in supervising the work of sales support staff as assigned; assists in providing training for new sales staff.

    Attends and participates in meetings, conferences, tradeshows, workshops, training, etc., as required or appropriate.

    Receives and reviews various records and reports including expense reports, monthly billable reports, client files, marketing data, case studies, invoices, etc.

    Prepares and/or processes projections, presentation materials, expense reports, weekly reports, monthly sales summaries, project status reports, order forms, client call reports, contracts, various other reports, records, forms, memos and correspondence.

    Refers to policy and procedure manuals, trade publications, directories, computer manual, course descriptions, etc.

    Operates a computer, printer, calculator, telephone, fax machine, audio-visual equipment; uses clerical and computer supplies.

    Communicates with the immediate supervisor, other company department heads and employees, co-workers, clients, vendors, travel professionals, and other individuals to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, resolve problems, or give/receive advice/direction.


    ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Coordinates customer order fulfillment.

    Researches customer backgrounds, financial / sales / business issues as required.

    Performs routine administrative/office tasks as required, including but not limited to preparing reports and correspondence, booking travel, copying and filing documents, entering computer data, etc.

    Performs related duties as required.

    MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

    Requires a minimum of three years of experience in sales / sales management, Recruitment and/or project resourcing, or an equivalent combination of education, recruitment and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
