  • • Facilitates day-to-day classes to assist clients in gaining knowledge and soft-skills needed to secure employment
    • Plans, organizes, and administers the prescribed curriculum to clients
    • Prepares written weekly reports
    • Demonstrates understanding of Employability skills, teaching materials, and procedures with understanding of various teaching methods
    • Understands the need of and sensitivity to culturally diverse populations
    • Instructs clients in job seeking, application procedures; resume writing, interview preparation and job retention skills and attitudes
    • Provides job search / career information workshops and presentations as needed
    • To train, review, monitor and assess learners on construction courses
    • Maintain all course and related documentation, including course and lesson plans
    • Support the development of this area of curriculum provision
    • Act as a personal tutor / mentor to groups of students and maintain their individual files and tracking documents
    • May be asked to train on other courses / undertake other activities as required
    • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
    • Must be a leader that sets the standard and expectations through example in his / her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character
    • Able to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics
    • Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organization’s needs
    • Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
    • Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies
    • Monitor and measure effectiveness of all training programs
    Minimum Requirements:
    MS Office
    Relevant Degree / Diploma
    2-5 years relevant experience
    SETA Registration number
    Industry training knowledge and experience
