A SQL / software developer who is ideally proficient with SQL:

Responsibilities will be:



Developing code for the solution (SQL and VB.Net) based on Technical Design Documentation received from business analyst / consultant

Write complex high performance SQL queries and stored procedures.

Developing / maintaining code

Create, test, and maintain program codes / macros

Building data Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) capabilities to deliver the solution to the client and as per technical specification

Database design and maintenance

Data modelling

Generate reports from the existing database system

Performing and assisting with Business Intelligence (BI) functions to deliver reporting to clients

Working with computer coding languages (based on client requirement)

Assist with design specifications by providing input and reviewing requirements, drafting functional specifications and technical solutions.

Provide assistance to Consulting staff when they are unable to resolve software issues

Provide assistance to customers as needed to clarify features or resolve problems

Provide general programming assistance to team members as needed

Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.

Researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs. Research/propose new technical solutions.
