  • Requirements:
    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management
    • Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing Environment
    • Drivers License
    • Computer Literate
    • SAP Knowledge
    • Import and Export knowledge
    • Knowledge of Local, Federal and Provincial Regulatory Agencies
    • LEAN / 6 Sigma
    • Strong Leadership Skills
    • Very proactive attitude
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Mature, self-initiative and with good problem solving, organizing, analytical, interpersonal skills
    Duties:
    • Deliver the Supply Chain masterplan agreed with Central Supply Chain
    • Achieve group targets defined for local market in terms of service level, costs and others
    • Designing local tactics and action plans to deliver strategy
    • Leading projects with efficiency and respecting deadlines
    • Lead S&OP process with the focus on Forecast accuracy
    • Analyze factors impacting on forecasting and proactively work on plans to mitigate them
    • Explain variances, highlight risk areas and drive preventive measures
    • Work with Sales and Marketing to identify opportunities to control uncertainty
    • Ensure accurate finish goods supply requests and solid communication to factories
    • Deliver Supply targets such as stock coverage and freshness
    • Warehousing and Transportation
    • Responsible for Storage, Inbound, Outbound and handling of materials
    • Develop criteria, procedural manuals and work instructions for the operation
    • Manage and create metrics to track performance
    • Achieve Quality and Safety Group Standards
    • Challenge actual route to market seeking for overall improvements
    • Work with sales team to reach cost efficient route to market
    • Propose network for long term
    • Foreign trade
    • Managing relationships and programs with local Customs and other legal entities
    • Drive plans to ensure compliance with guidelines
    • Establishing procedures for the execution of export and imports related to finish goods
    • Detect opportunities, prioritize and make proposals of courses of actions
    • Roll-out agreed projects at a local level
