    We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused Transport Administrator to join our team in the East Rand to effectively plan and resource the transport fleet in order to meet and exceed customer expectations. The transport operation in Gauteng runs on a 24 / 7 basis so the Transport Administrator will be expected to be flexible in their working hours to ensure that cover is provided outside of normal working hours as and when required.

    Key responsibilities:

    To ensure service level agreements are maintained.
    To provide and maintain efficient and effective clerical support for the traffic office / traffic team as required.
    Carry out all traffic office functions in line with company policies and procedures.
    To deal with incoming/outgoing telephone calls politely and confidently and in accordance with our telephone policy.
    To ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, Company policies and procedures and best practice.
    To ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards at all times.
    Contribute effectively in a team environment.
    Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to Investors in People standard
    To be successful in your application you will have proven transport planning experience and previous experience of working in a transport environment. You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal and will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload. You must also be IT literate with the ability to use MS packages and create reports when required.
