  • Job summary: The successful incumbent will be responsible for developing and growing sales and market share of the company’s product offering, covering all tools & equipment and engineering consumables.

    Duties and responsibilities:
     Identify prospective customers and buyers.
     Identify key accounts to achieve agreed targets and budget.
     Achieve sales targets against specific price lists in accordance with divisional strategy and set budget.
     Maintain a regular calling schedule with company’s branch representative to customers.
     Build and maintain a good relationship with customers.
     Service existing clients regularly.
     Attend to and resolve customers’ queries and complaints timeously.

     Grade 12 or equivalent
     Technical trade or relevant qualification
     Computer literate
     Driver’s licence

     5-10 years’ experience within the Tools & equipment and Engineering consumables
     Mining background would be advantageous.
     Must be able to calculate discounts, profits, etc.
     Strong negotiation skills
