Launched in August 2012, Watericon was built on the back of Yarn Home, leading supplier of water treatment products in Africa. The company’s goal was to diversify Yarn Home to offer premier engineering and technical services for the water treatment industry. Watericon’s first engineer joined in September 2012 and so began the diversification and development of the company. Watericon has since succeeded in completing a range of projects across different industries including industrial swimming pools, potable water units, process water plants, and waste water treatment solutions; from residential estates to commercial gyms, dairies, breweries, and mines. Water Icon has provided consulting services, equipment, design, build, consumables and engineering solutions for a number of the worlds most recognized companies.
